DC & Induction Motors

Induction motors (or asynchronous motors) are widely used AC electric motors that convert electrical energy to mechanical energy through electromagnetic induction, without needing direct electrical connections to the rotating part (rotor). They work by creating a rotating magnetic field in the stationary stator, which induces currents in the rotor (often a "squirrel cage") and causes it to spin, powering everything from household fans to industrial machinery due to their ruggedness, low cost, and low maintenance.
Motor Rewinding
Rewinding generally means winding something backward or re-winding it, most commonly referring to the technical process of replacing or repairing the copper wire coils (windings) inside an electric motor to restore its efficiency and power, a cost-effective alternative to buying a new motor.
Motor Overhauling
Overhaul involves restoring and maintaining equipment by partially or completely disassembling it, inspecting for damaged or worn parts, repairing or replacing those parts, and reassembling and testing the equipment before returning it to full operation.
Generator Rewinding & Overhauling
Generator winding involves wrapping insulated copper or aluminum wire around the stator and rotor to create electromagnetic fields. These fields convert mechanical energy into electrical energy through interaction between the rotating rotor and stationary stator.
